What is dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a form of online retail business where sellers accept and process orders without physically storing inventory or shipping products as they’re sold. Simply put, you create the online storefront and market your products, and your dropshipping supplier packs and ships the products for you from their own warehouse. This is the secret to starting a jewelry business if you have no money to invest in inventory, warehouse space, or shipping supplies.
The most common way to start a dropshipping business of any kind is with a Shopify store. Shopify allows you to have your own standalone website boutique, and it’s one of the most commonly used e-commerce sites around the world. Shopify costs $29 per month, but they also have a 14-day free trial so you can give dropshipping a try without investing hundreds or thousands of dollars.
The Best Suppliers for Dropshipping Jewelry in 2021
The problem with dropshipping is that there are so many suppliers out there offering a variety of products and services, which can turn your beginner experience into an overwhelming and daunting experience. I currently have two dropshipping Shopify stores, so this list is the most trustworthy dropshipping partners and Shopify apps I’ve come across or tried and would recommend to a friend.
Each of these dropshipping suppliers offers a slightly different type of product and experience. With some, you can create an entirely custom piece of jewelry and have them create the product for you. With others, you can browse their selection of ready-made products and add the finished products to your store in a few clicks. You can start an entire business using only one of these suppliers, or you can use several of them in one store. It ultimately depends on the type of brand you want to create, so don’t be afraid to experiment with each one and see what you can do.
Printful: Best Print-On-Demand Jewelry Supplier
Print-on-demand is a form of dropshipping business where you create graphic designs to have printed on custom products such as apparel, mugs, posters, and yes, even jewelry. Here’s an example of the type of engraved jewelry you can have made with Printful, the supplier I use for 99% of the products in my print shop:
In this scenario, I typed the word onto a piece of jewelry from Printful and listed it for sale in my Etsy shop. When someone buys my item, I pay Printful for the base price of the product, then they print, process, and ship the order for me, with my branding on the package and receipt.
Since they are a print-on-demand company, you are limited to custom engraved jewelry. It’s more appropriate for statement pieces that have a word or phrase, which you can cater to your shop’s niche or style. You could even offer personalized engraving for custom order requests.
Printful integrates with Shopify, Etsy, Woocommerce, Amazon, and several other selling platforms. Since these products are considered handmade with the help of a production partner, you are allowed to sell them on Etsy as well. They offer customizable packing slips and clothing tags so you can use them to start a fully-branded boutique.

Shine On
Shine On is a print-on-demand supplier for personalized jewelry products. They have jewelry you can customize with printing and engraving, and they also have the option to personalize the box your jewelry is sold in to cater to the recipient.
Shine On integrates with Shopify and Etsy. They are always adding new products and their website is filled with tutorials and helpful guides, so you can create the perfect jewelry pieces without worry. Their headquarters is located in Florida, and everything from customizing to shipping and fulfillment is done in-house by a group of moms and fellow small business owners.
Shine On’s catalog can be sorted by the person you’re creating for (Mom, Aunt, Dad, BFF, Grandparents, Nurse, Spouse, etc.) or by event if you’d like to focus on anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, or other commemorative events. This is a great option for creating a store themed around certain people, relationships, life events/stages, or occupations.

Beeoux
Beeoux integrates with Shopify and WooCommerce, allowing you to sell custom jewelry designs without managing any inventory.
What makes Beeoux so unique is the opportunity for full customization. You can create a design from scratch in a program like Canva, or pick from one of their hundreds of ready-made templates to resell in your store. Spocket
Spocket is a dropshipping app that integrates with Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce, and more. They work with several dropshipping suppliers across the US and Europe. These suppliers stock everything from children’s toys to high-quality jewelry, with more than half a million products currently available in their catalog. They are a great resource for selling finished jewelry pieces rather than pieces that you customize with your own designs.
Each product available through Spocket names the supplier it comes from, so you can learn more about the brands you’re selling and see when they add new products to Spocket that you can then add to your store.
Unlike many other apps on this list, Spocket is not free: it costs a minimum of $49 per month and has a 14-day free trial, so you can at least browse their catalog and test a few products before deciding if you want to commit. Sign up and view their catalog here.
MyOnlineFashionStore.Com
My Online Fashion Store is a Los Angeles-based dropshipping company that you can use with Shopify, eBay, Amazon, Wish, Poshmark, and other popular selling platforms. Their app specializes in women’s fashion and accessories, with more than 5,000 items currently available for you to sell in your dropshipping store. Everything is shipped out of their Los Angeles warehouse and is based on US sizing standards. Their jewelry selection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings. I would recommend trying them out if you’re interested in selling boutique fashion along with your jewelry.
My Online Fashion Store is not free to use – it costs $29 per month but there is a 14-day free trial that you can line up with your 14-day Shopify trial to see how you like it. If you’d like to jumpstart your store, they also offer turnkey dropshipping websites for $99, which includes a ready-made website, app membership, website maintenance, Facebook cover and logo design, and custom packaging for your products. I haven’t used their service, but I do know how much time it can take to set up a new Shopify store, even as a beginner. For the price, that’s a great deal that will save you a significant chunk of time in the beginning.
Buying a premade store from them means you can spend more time playing around with your shop collections, menus, and display to customize it however you want and learn how the platform works. Everything on Shopify is drag-and-drop so it’s super easy to make changes in a few clicks.

How to Sell Digital Products on Etsy
[…] What is dropshipping business? Dropshipping industry is a growing retail model in which the retailer or the selling shop does not own or stock the inventory sold. Instead, when a store owner obtains an order form from an individual customer, they instead purchase these items from either a third-party distributor that warehouses the items for them or a dropshipping company that offers the items on consignment. Instead of stocking the items, dropshipping companies only carry the inventory. They do not hold any items themselves. The difference between the actual cost of the items sold and the amount a retailer pays to the drop shipper is their profit. Thus, when a retailer sells an item and buys from a dropshipper, the retailer makes money that is subtracted from their sales. […]
